Overview
Location: Central Los Angeles, Westside Cities. Metro plans to make it easier to get around by expanding our rail system to the Westside with the D Line Subway Extension Project. This critical, highly anticipated new addition to Metro’s network will add seven new stations and a reliable, high-speed connection between downtown and the Westside. As one of LA’s busiest areas, the Westside is the region’s second-largest job center. With the Metro D Line Subway Extension Project, we are closer than ever to connecting active areas and improving travel for everyone who lives, works, and plays in LA County.
Scope of Work
The U.S. Hyperbaric Tunnel Medical Team provided Physician oversight of all compressed air workers, working in conjunction with Ballard Marine Construction Hyperbaric Division DMTs
Services
24/7 Onsite medical care of all commercial divers and compressed air workers.
Help mitigate the risk of decompression sickness while working with a hyperbaric chamber supervisor.
Performed pre and post-medical evaluations of all personnel entering and exiting the hyperbaric chamber.
Supervised extrication drills for potentially injured workers.
